Kentucky comes into the weekend at 8-1, no. 1 RPI. Georgia comes into the weekend at 1-8, no. 56 RPI. Georgia wins 2 of 3 and moves up from 56 to 37 RPI. Kentucky remains at no. 1 RPI? WTF

No one ever understands RPI. It's like the curvature of the earth. We all just accept it as fact despite being unable to provide evidence

It would be even more hilarious if their RPI dropped after playing the #1 team in the nation. Is it possible?

They had a 300 point lead over the top teams before the series. They lost about 60 points for each game they lost to UGA. They only gained a few for the win. UVA also gained ground. They are now about 100 points behind. 160 for USC. 194 for LSU. UK doesn’t have the potential to lose many points this week but LSU can gain a lot by beating them. A sweep would likely get them close but also depends on UVA and USC.

Not to derail this thread but there is plenty of evidence of the curvature of the earth.

Not matter how much evidence you provide it will never be enough for conspiracy nuts.

I'm not sure if they will consider this when it comes to the post season but ELO has us #1 and UK #10

RPI is very strongly skewed towards success on the road.

Away wins count as 1.3 wins, and losses 0.7. So going 1-2 on the road is close to the same as splitting the series in terms of RPI. These values are flipped for the home team.

Interestingly, ELO also had some #1's in the US and UK.

Can you see Cuba from Key West with the naked eye? (Distance about 90 miles)

Can you see the sun, stars, moon?
(Distances all over 100k miles)

What? That’s your evidence? Get a spotting scope and go to Lake Ponchartrain. Look down the causeway or across the lake. One can see the waterline of boats several miles away. Not possible if the earth’s geometry is what we are told.

Your reference to the stars etc is ridiculous. It assumes facts into evidence that have not been proven.

Hahahahahaaaaa

You could just watch a sunset and try the same thing and realize you can’t see the sun once it sets.

When we build something on thus so called round earth, we check it for level.

Just sayin.

If LSU sweeps I bet they're #1 or 2 RPI.
