I was 7 years old in 1987 and Florida came to Death Valley. At the time, I only knew a few players.
Harvey Williams, Sammy Martin, Wendell Davis, and of course Tommy Hodson. I sure as hell didn’t know Florida’s freshman RB, Emmitt Smith, at the time.
Despite a huge game by Emmitt, top ranked LSU beat ranked Fla 13-10. Fla missed a FG to tie in the closing seconds in the south endzone, just where we were seated.
Tigers won and the obsession began.

Yes. LSU vs North Texas. 2012. An all time classic.

I was eight years old at the 1994 Miss St game where Eddie Kennison returned a almost disastrous punt return for a touchdown.

Jimmy Johnson and the Canes rolled in and kicked the Tigers arse in a monsoon.

It was LSU vs North Texas. Kevin Faulk was playing. If I remember correctly.

Yes. Technically my first game in TS was the 2004 spring game and LSU won

1997- Notre Dame beat LSU 24-6, but Kevin Faulk broke the career rushing record that game. Saw them beat Notre Dame 27-9 in Shreveport that same year.

'83 vs. FSU. Lost. About all I remember due to inebriation.

LSU-Florida State in 1982. Fog rolling in, oranges being hurled and a drunk coonass staggering around behind us drinking a fifth of Jack. I was hooked for life.

Mid 1970’s lsu vs ole miss. First time I have ever smelled that much whiskey since I was at the deer camp with my dad.

Sept, 1960 in TS, LSU lost to Baylor. I was 9.

I was 10 years old. Wasn’t my first game, but I remember it VERY well.
Edit: my first game was around 77. I remember a field goal being caught right by us. It’s weird how you can remember some things like that.

How could I forget. 1998 Bama. We blocked a FG that seemingly iced the game up by 2 scores. Bama scored with 2 minutes left, got the onside kick and scored again to win.

One of the early games in my freshman year in 1960. My mom and aunt came up from NO. I think I got to buy 2 tickets in the student section relatively cheap with my free ticket. I think the student section was on the sideline around the 25 yard line.

Yep, it was during my first year at LSU. Me and some friends dropped acid that day and somehow wound up at the LSU game. I was tripping balls and had never been in a stadium of that size and it was an extremely overwhelming experience.

1958 LSU vs Hardin-Simmons. Tigers won 20-6.

I was a Freshman at LSU in 1980. The first home game was a loss to Florida State. That was the only home loss that season.
I grew up in Lafayette but we were very poor so I had n option to go to any games prior to being a student there. I had gone to plenty of USL games. Tiger Stadium was like being on another planet in comparison.
