Any ideas why Wingo hasn’t been drafted?

Would’ve thought he’d be picked before Smith

I can't be certain but my sources are telling me it's because a team hasn't chosen him yet.

He's short with short arms

Drake Nevis was short too.

Different time and different game.

But there is an advantage in the right defense for a squatty fire plug.

The draft is all about potential

Mason’s potential is much higher than Wingo’s despite the huge disparity in college production

Matt House prob been talking him down to his NFL buddies… I have no way to verify that but it is an idea

Why? He’s at the top end of his potential and doesn’t measure extremely well.

NFL scouts drool over physical stature and big name schools. Maason Smith has been talked about as an early round pick since he was in high school thanks to the recruiting services.

Wingo was far more impactful as a player but will get knocked down because there was no hype for him. He's no different than someone like Sheldon Rankins but because there's no hype the scouts don't care.

House is with the jags now so he must have been involved with the Smith pick

NFL interior linemen will swallow him up
He kind of reminds me of Malcolm roach
He has a spot in the league just undersized

Combine the hype with Masons early enjury, and scouts think they might have a potential diamond in the rough. Early injury limited Masons development.

Publicly dissing your position coach has consequences

His dissing coach has nothing to do with it
Williams could diss Lincoln Riley and would still be a first round top 5 pick

Wingo is about the same size as Aaron Donald, and he was defensive player of the year

Well he wasn’t Aaron Donald dominant at lsu and I don’t think he comes anywhere close to that production in nfl

If Shula can coach in nfl for as long as he did no reason house won’t have a long career
