Guess I was fooled.
New coach
New offensive coordinator
New defensive coordinator
New special teams coach
Alot of new players, patchworked from other team's rejects.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step...but DAMN...we haven't progressed much from that very first step.

Howard MUST start next year. We’ve seen what 5 can do and I guess we won’t be able to see what 13 can do

Biggest thing is I thought DL would be great and OL adequate.
Neither worked out.

It’s just a bad all around team. The coaching really hasn’t helped at all and that’s alarming

You had to know it was gonna be bad. We were almost a .500 team last year and we had 39 schollies when kelly arrived.
People dont realize how bad orgeron got this program. He inheritted a porche and left a dodge colt.

I didn't think we were this week in talent. There's a lot of issues. Too many to get into.

Kelly picked the wrong one, or maybe it’s just Kelly’s offense no matter who the OC is. Either way, the offensive coaching plus the limited QB are making it this bad. It shouldn’t be this bad, but it t is, and that’s Kelly’s fault.

Didnt help our best down lineman bkew up his knee celebrating a tackle he didnt make on the first defensive series. Having that inside monster opens everything else up.

They're right where I thought they'd be. They were ahead, until UT beat us by 4 TDs. Back to the drawing board, uphill battle but this team could still technically end 9-3. I don't think they will, I think 8-4 is on par. They will need to play better still though.

My hopes weren't high just bc the shite show 0 left. That said, the "i got to coach better" stuff is getting old. Hard headed, bizarre personnel decisions and my god the Special teams are just awful. I expected better coaching for sure, i'm pretty disappointed up to now.

All of the folks thinking 9-3, 8-4 were not looking at what we had. 36 scholarship players to start and trying to replace spots with so many transfers. Add to that a whole new coaching staff and this year was and is going to be rough. The recruiting class we have lined up for this year looks to help and should be significantly better next year but I think we are looking at year after before we will be true threat!

It’s always next year or the year after with this team. We did this same shite with Les Miles for a decade. Exception was 2019.

When you are out manned there is only so much you can do.
You either have to have generational talent or a solid trenches.

I will give Kelly a few years. O e thing he always does is have a good OL. That is in process.
It will be better, this year you just have to take the good with the bad.

Tennessee is a good team.

We needed to play mistake free and we did not.

We needed the coaches and the players
To
Have a great game and NEITHER did.

Serious question, what did you think was meant by "complete program rebuild"?

and if you didnt think this was a "complete program rebuild", then we have found your problem.

Our team is lacking in experienced talent at most positions.

We will be better in 2023 and even better in 2024.

4-2 despite all the off-season turmoil. Did you really expect Kelly to even win the SEC much less bring home a title this season?
