Ahmad Breaux says since moving to DT he's gained 17lbs (258 to 275)...

Legitimately thought we had like two total DT’s on the team based on the recruiting board freak outs the past couple of weeks.

Well that’s a you problem. The freakout is because none of those guys have proven to be any good.

Desperately have to have one of the freshman step up.

If one of them steps up then things settle out.

Guillory anchors and then between paez a freshman shand and jalen Lee all coached by bo davis I think we can have a d line that won’t be any worse than last years and likely is better.

I wish we had two legitimate DTs on this team.

We don't.

Paez started half of Wisconsins games on a defense that was number 35 in the country and 37 against the run.

But by all means continue mindless group think. It’s much easier

Paez and Guillory are serviceable rotation pieces for a really good defense, which is the hope. Problem is you have to rely on them as the bell cows now.

Damonic is not “proven” either. Glad Kelly chose to not extremely over pay

I’m just looking for not historically bad.

You really think that a 5th year senior Guillroy and 6th year senior Paez with Bo davis coaching them can’t improve upon last year’s PRODUCTION. Not talking about potential but actual production

We legitimately have one total starting SEC caliber DT on the team. Maybe believe your head coach, even if you don't believe this board, because he said exactly that at the press conference. "We're looking for the other starter."

I guess the starting DT for the number 35 defense isn’t good enough for us?

Issue with those dts is Lee has done nothing for 3 yrs at fl and lsu, both with horrible defenses. Hickey is a walkon, kimo is am offensive lineman, shone is a juco , breaux is just getting into carrying 270+ lbs and I assume that'll take some getting used to. Mckinley is true fr. Guillory has had very good moments, but he gets hurt a lot, and hasn't been a starter ever in 3 yrs. Wisconsin kid can provide spell reps for sure, but we're going to need shone / kimo to be a hit, and mckinley to have a godcheaux type freshman year for us. They'll get the position sured up by next year, just going to be all hands on deck this year.

I’m not getting into the whole overpaying thing, but Dom was a Freshman All-American and has started every game of his freshman and sophomore years. You’ve got walk-ons who have never played a snap of college football on this list.

The big 10 is nothing but Stone Age offenses, so being a spot starter at Wisconsin doesn’t make you a can’t miss prospect. Don’t care what they ranked defensively. The people pretending we are fine at DT sounds like the people who were pretending we would be fine at CB this past year. Kelly, Davis and Pete Jenkins disagree if you think the depth is fine.

Well they have the reigning national champions and had the most wins in bowl season

This is an ironic statement given the melt about the portal.

Our CB situation would have been far better last season if we had stayed put and not taken Duce chestnutt and Denver Harris and instead worked on developing our young guys.

Yes, Guillory has never been asked to play the majority of the snaps; need solid rotational pieces to keep the starters from tiring out.

Why do you say this? Harris and Chestnut didn’t play for the majority of the season.

No one is worried about lack of bodies.
