Im lost on all this transfer portal stuff. Didnt the portal close on the 30th for underclassmen and today for graduates? If so he would need to make a decision today to be eligible for the fall right?

I’m not trying to hate on him or the staff. We definitely need a solid CB1, but this guy doesn’t look the part. Looks like a skinnier Duce Chestnut on tape.

You just have to enter the portal by those dates. Dont have to pick your new program by then

So yes portal for underclassmen closed yesterday but schools have 48hrs to submit the paperwork. You will see names of players pop up today and tomorrow for portal.
Once players enter portal they have no time frame to commit. They will be good to play in fall.

Bama losing a lot of star talent in the secondary to the portal

They'll be as thin in the secondary as they've been since pre saban. I think they'll struggle defensively next year.

Saban still has an office so he can do all the tampering necessary to get the job done.
