It's more than 3 spots. Not everyone in the class now is going sign with us

I really believe we'll do well with any last three... Coaches got that figured out!

IDK who else they will get but there are 3 guys I'd like to finish with:
Van Pran
Webb
Guillory

I'm basing that on who has the most interest in us at this time. I'd love to add Dumervil, Evans, McKinnley Jackson, Ashaad Johnson, Lindberg, Paris Johnson, all to this class, but realistically if LSU keeps those committed then those are the 3 I'd like. Now, which commits are 'expendable' if higher rated recruits want in, iDK and not going there. Just hope they finish this class off strong and with players of need.

Van Pran
Guillory
Johnson or Evans
Webb
Dumervil
Moore

That means three current commits may not be there in the end.

No, we’re not getting all of those guys. Just guessing, I’d say Guillory and Van Pran are likely gets. And I think we get a surprise. Who knows who that will be, but it seems like half the years we get that. There will probably be one more, making four newbys. That means one guy bales out or is processed.

Currently 9 DL commits if you count the 3-4 OLB’s

Space isn’t an issue, we will clear spots as needed, and I expect some natural attrition from somewhere

I will take everyone we have now, without dropping anyone, as long as Cam Jackson can play OL. I like everyone else. Just add Guillory and 2 more of the caliber we are in it for and I am happy. If we cull a few ok, but we still have a championship caliber class even if we don't.

For me I say Dumerville, Van Pran and Guillory. Process people if some other big timers want in.

247 La top 17

Only one OL in La. next year but many RB next year with two taken last year.

I admit that I don’t know shite about recruiting, period. And I dont know how it works out by horse trading this year’s spots for next year.

But I would feel more comfortable if we went ahead and front-loaded Oline this year instead of relying on out of state guys next year. Try to land two good backs next year like we did in 2018.

2020 Oline.

T
Dare Rosenthal 6-7 320 so
Cameron Wire 6-6 295 jr
Jacori Savage 6-6 300 sr

G
Chasen Hines 6-2 325 jr
Thomas Perry 6-5 320 fr
----Marlon Martinez 6-4 300 fr

C
Lloyd Cushenberry 6-3 305 sr

Kardell Thomas 6-3 330 so
Donavaughn Campbell 6-4 335 sr

T
Saadhiq Charles 6-4 310 Sr
Anthony Bradford 6-6 345 so
Austin Deculus 6-6 320 sr
----Camron Jackson 6-5 285 fr

We only have two committed and we don’t know what is going to happen to Jackson.

My vocab is pitiful.

What I meant was, take one extra ol and put off getting an RB till next year

Celestine, Ryan and Watkins could make that easier to make up. Especially if Evans and Milton choose elsewhere.

Ps. Ryan can can return that ball too.

Eta.

So in my uneducated opinion, it seems to me that, barring defections/processes:

Guillory
Van Pran
Dimerville

Are the final play.

Better keep an eye on Boutte visiting two states east with a full court press on him.

Kole looks the closest to a farmer/rancher to me (from Grand Junction, CO). And at 6’7” he can prob throw a bale around pretty well.

Dumerville is supposed to be a heavy lean to UF I thought?
