He’s right that you’re lacking context. You say we would be in the same place we are in right now but there’s no way to know that. Every recruiting decision has a cost one way or another.

For his own mental health/Brian Kelly’s health that alternate reality is frightening.
Draco would have ended up in a mental institution and Kelly in the hospital.
In the current timeline we just have Draco exhibiting the emotional control and logic of a 13 year old girl
