Good point. I’d like to get a couple of these guys, but just because a guy is the best player available in the spring portal doesn’t mean he’s the second coming of Chad Lavalais or Glenn Dorsey.
I still have faith we’ll be improved on defense based on new coaches, scheme and improved play at corner and safety. We were playing multiple true freshman at corner for a good portion of last season.

Keep the team intact. Don't pay a potential 7th round draft pick or FA contract player like he's a number one. Dom Mc is going to have to be Davon Godchaux like out of the shoot. A true freshman that plays well. It will all work itself out some way.

This is why I haven't been a fan of some of the takes that we need to back up the trucks for these guys. We have a competent DC now, and he'll get creative.
We'll be competitive. Remember, we're in a rebuild mode for one more cycle.
