The 2026 No. 1 prospect was at USC over the weekend and the talk throughout his recruitment was that the Trojans, Oregon and Texas really captured his attention the most. Stewart will be at Oregon next weekend and that’s another big trip after coming off a major visit to Ohio State that Stewart loved.

The message from USC especially from position coach Eric Henderson was that they’re going to let Stewart wreak havoc across the defensive line as so much stands out - on and off the field - for the Trojans

No mention of the Tigers. Where do we stand or is he just "tripping"?

I don't like that usc hired Lynn and Henderson.

Henderson has connections in Nola and can flaunt Aaron Donald and the NFL.

With that said I don't see lsu losing stewart. It just won't happen

Just a bit concerning as "watch their actions, not their mouth". Neither seems in our court for now.

Are he and Frank tight?

Our guys seem to be firm on their predictions for us. Haven't quite figured out if they know something or are riding the 'Godfather" faith train again. Were awfully premature picks by notoriously prudent guys like Shea and Billy. At the time I thought they knew something. Now I'm not so sure. Kid has taken a ton of visits between USC(3-4), Texas(1 I know of), Oregon(at least 2), OSU(at least 2) and UGA. On top of others. Been to LSU twice I know of(last a good bit ago). There may be more we don't know, who knows. I have no doubt USC, Oregon and OSU are legit threats. I personally have begun to think we are running uphill in this one.
I wonder how the reclass is factoring? Seems certain to happen. Also his trainer seems to carry the weight so I also wonder how that factors. Not to say he's doing anything wrong but these days you have to ask with all the $ up for grabs.

I can't remember the last post he made about LSU.

It feels like we're gonna get our hearts ripped out on this one.

Is Hankton a St Aug alum?

Between him, Frank and Bo, it would be pretty wild to miss out on Stewart.

He would make it one season out west before transferring back here. As long as Lincoln Riley is their coach, they'll never play anything resembling competent defense. Supposedly they paid Bear Alexander 1.5 million to sign on top of 30k/month and he departed after one year. You know they are offering more for Stewart.

Y’all he goes out of state when he isn’t locked down by the football season. He knows he can get to lsu at any time, even in-season

It seems to be more about Louisiana than LSU.

Glitz and Glamour of SC

Not sure why any defensive guy would wanna play for Lincoln though

Bk came to LSU for athletes like Stewart that get pumped out of Louisiana. Don’t see him missing out on him with the staff we’ve created. Id be nervous if bama had saban poaching him but he’s probably just getting a free LA trip in

He’ll be back at LSU in the summer. No way y’all are worried about a St Aug kid from New Orleans leaving state with Bo and Frank leading the charge. He’s the number 1 player at the most premium position on defense of course he’s gonna take visits.

Earlier in the year, he said he LOVES LSU! If I was #1 recruit at that age. I would be going everywhere.

How is it even possible for this kid to be thinking about reclassifying?! I swear to god he's taken/is taking more recruiting trips than any recruit i can ever remember following - i don't know how he can even stay eligible, let alone get ahead.

To be clear, I'm all for kids enjoying the process - it's awesome, and it's once-in-a-lifetime. I'm just genuinely confused and a bit shocked at the number of trips here. It seems like he's averaging about 1.5 major trips per week at this point lol.

ETA: I will say: I actually think that, in a weird way, the way his recruitment is going so far makes me *more* confident that he'll wind up staying home. It seems to me that we're AWFULLY calm for the number of major visits he's taking. If we were worried, we'd surely be pushing much much harder. But (a) we're not doing that at all, and (b) our insiders have him predicted to LSU and don't seem to have much concern over it at all. None of that makes sense to me unless there's something giving them confidence behind the scenes.
