I doubt On3 makes it to 2030 before he sells and starts a new one. Again

I'm really hoping he goes with On4. I already bought the domain, so, fingers crossed.

Yawn. We’ll see how the tune changes on here when we’re half way through the season and teams are gashing us because the interior of our DL is pitiful and we didn’t do enough to address our issues in secondary either.

God bless America! Where else in the world could you become a millionaire keeping track of how fast adolescents run, or how much they?

When I saw that NIL bs number on the recruiting site I couldn’t help but laugh.

I don't understand what he is complaining about. On3 is the biggest recruiting website and NIL is a huge part of recruiting. Why wouldn't they have stuff about NIL on their website? Notice he doesn't get all pissed off when On3 posts about two LSU women's athletes being top NIL earners, he celebrates it.

Also, what did Andy Staples say that was wrong? He said the same thing that this board has been saying. Those guys were overpriced and not worth what they were asking.

Everybody is searching for a "Feel Good" story right now. This board has gotten away from the real issue and started focusing on what the next media guy/article has said about BK.

...and we still don't have any productive Interior defensive lineman help.

What he is complaining about is he is saying On3 NIL numbers are overstated and hence causing a disruption in the force in the locker room.

It's a valuation, meaning it is what they think those players are worth or could command on the open market. It doesn't mean that it is exactly what they are making. When Forbes gives a valuation for a NFL team of $4.5 billion, it doesn't mean that that team is bringing in $4.5 billion a year.

I have a theory he's going buy back his old services for pennies on the dollar that he sold them for, then combine them all and rebrand them all.

The "valuation" is largely a guess. It's stupid.

That's my point. It's an educated guess based on a multitude of factors. It's not exactly what they are making. It's like when Forbes posts an article about the most valuable sports franchises. If a company is valued at a billion dollars, it doesn't mean that they are bringing in a billion dollars. Now if On3 labeled it "NIL earnings" instead of "NIL valuation" that would be a different story.

What tune? You think people will regret not making a mediocre player the highest paid player on the team?

I think most people agree that it’s pay to play, and LSU is participating in that.

Where the disconnect seems to be is over valuations and resource allocation.

Obviously, LSU didn’t think the players in the portal were worth their asking price.

The late portal was like last call at the bar.

LSU should have allocated more resources and dollars into trying to get a DL in the first portal window. Instead they counted on either Smith or Wingo returning and picking up another DL in the second portal window. They messed up. Thats the problem, not that they didn’t spend $1.5 million on Williams.
