While factually correct, you’re missing critical context:
1) Aaron Donald is one of the top 3, if not the single best, DT in NFL history. This Williams kid ain’t that
2) Donald was a draft pick, not a free agent. The core of that team was almost entirely built via the draft or trades
3) 5 of their top 7 cap hits were the big 5 positions
But I appreciate you validating my previous statement re: teams spending on top talent at critical positions.
