They think that they did enough with NIL to get him to lean their way. Remember LSU has the last visit. Florida fans are salty about losing Cormani. So the bag they were dropping for him has now moved to Ricks. LSU has made Ricks their #1 NIL deal for this class.

Solid stuff as usual and figure they would make that last attempt. Hard to turn down Coach Kelly, Steeples, House and what the Tigers are building compared to Napier and Florida. A slower process, as we expected anyway. Ricks would benefit more playing here and he’d see good playing time, I’d imagine.

Imagine the young but talented secondary room, with Ricks, Toviano, Jackson, Austin (should be stick), Harris (should Kelly welcome him), , etc. Any insight on the latter two, Crown? Seems very quiet with Austin, though that may be a good thing and I’m seeing rumors/rumblings with Harris.

Crown you are 100 percent right. LSU is flexing their money right now, and not even Florida (who is going all in) is outbidding them for this one more than likely.
