What kind of insect eggs are these?

They're caused by a gall wasp. Which exact one, I'm not sure. The eggs are inside of the gall. Cut one of the larger ones open and you will find tiny maggot-like worms. Those larvae will become wasps. There are also predatory wasps and flies that target the larvae inside of the gall.

The above poster is right in the Latin name for it. There are a couple species that are very similar.
