Anyone using this to control bermuda grass? How has it worked?

Site one has it. Was there a couple weeks ago, talked to counter guy, he was using it in zoysia to remove Bermuda. He said it worked as expected. Not cheap I think $250 plus for a bottle, no discount available.

I will probably get some with fusalide to try on my St Aug. I have a ln area I plugged that the common Bermuda is having a war with.

The one in Lafayette doesn't.

I'd like to do the same eventually. I'd like my St Aug to make more of a comeback after the drought set it back a little last year.

Does Recognition stunt the zoysia growth at all or is it selective towards bermuda? Guess I need to read up on it.

My understanding from what I've read is that the Recognition alone does not control bermudagrass. You have to combine it with Fusilade II. There's a "safener" in Recognition that prevents St Aug and Zoysia from being injured by the Fusilade.

ETA: Lawn Care Nut also did a breakdown on it and gives mix rates per 1000 sq ft.

Bumping this thread

I purchased the combo this week, haven’t cut my grass in 7 days, Bermuda is showing itself well.

Plan to spray today as long as weather holds out.

Using these spray rates

This is the correct answer. It's an amazing product. I've used it with up to 24 oz/ A of Fusilade II with little to no injury. Stay on the 28 day reapplication interval and it does and amazing job at suppressing the bermudagrass. The bermuda can re-establish itself if treatments are stopped. I've only seen bermuda death at 3 high rate applications on extremely low cut turf (greens height). Syngenta hit a homerun with this product.

Please update this thread when you start seeing results.

Hopefully this stuff becomes more readily available in the coming years.

Starting point
This is plugged St Aug areas that has spread well but Bermuda obviously competing

I sprayed yesterday per 1000ft/gal
Recognition 0.045 oz
Fusilide 0.55 oz
Surfactant 0.3 oz

Went higher rate for initial app

Damn, they are proud of it. I’m not sure I hate that last bit of Bermuda that much

Update
5 days in
I sprayed a few areas of Bermuda more heavily that didn’t have much st Aug near them, and the stockings are showing major signs of stress …Dallas grass showing purple tops already which I’ve never been able to achieve
