Hooking downspout to ATU outlet

I have a gutter downspout near the drain line of my ATU has anyone tied them together? It drains about 500 sq foot of roof, the house is elevated about 3 feet above grade. All the other downspouts drain into same ditch as drain line.

I’m not familiar with ATUs, but If you’re considering draining storm water into your sanitary sewer system, then I highly recommend you don’t do it.
