Can we get the “back to top” button again on new mobile layout? Or a “return to board”?

We used to have a “back to top” (something like that) button under each post on mobile. Made it nice to click, and jump to the top and then click the main board link to return to the main forum.
With new layout, you have to scroll all the way up or down to get to the link to the main forum you’re in.
Maybe I’m the only one who used that button? But I used that SOB all the time.

No. I want that as well.
There’s a return to board button but not a return to top button.

Are you talking about desktop mode on your mobile device? What phone and browser are you using?

I’m on iPhone on Safari using the mobile site.
We used to have a “top” (or something like that) button at the bottom of each post in the thread, didn’t we?! I’m not crazy am I?
It was super useful. If you click the last post on thread, and it brings you into the last page but way at the bottom, you could just click “top” and start from the top of the page. Instead of annoyingly scrolling all the way up.
Feel like it was down here in the circled area in every post.

I used "Top" all the time on mobile but I have gotten used to it not being there... Dhillip and his team made their recommendations and we have stuck with them thus far....they had concern that we are running out of room for it...they are working on a way to increase the font size in settings, which would further constrict the space there.

I’m realizing now that just tapping at the top of the browser window does basically the same thing. It’s not nearly as ergonomic as the previous button, which didn’t require me to move my phone around in my hand, but it’s better than nothing.

Because I wanted to go to the top of the page to jump one page forward on back.
Non-sarcastic answer, it just became habit to navigate threads and boards. I liked clicking too and then having the option to choose:
Forums
Back/Forward one page
Board
Again, it was nothing that can’t be accomplished with 2-4 clicks, but it was just habit

Every day that I’m on the OT I miss this button more and more. Probably because someone started a thread about it. Please bring it back.
