I've been off for 5 months nursing some golfer's elbow and a pinched nerve in my neck.

Started PT a couple of weeks ago and they told me to start lifting again if I want to. No back squats yet, but everything else is fair game unless I feel the pins amd needles radiating down my left arm.

So far today, warmed up on the rower for 10 minutes, 5 sets of pushups, then some light KB excercises in my shoulders, arms, back, and chest.

I did 4 x 10 flat, incline, and decline bench with 20lb dbs. Tricep pushdowns 6 x 15 25lbs. 4 x 10 shoulder press with 20lb dbs.

About to hit some Planks and will wrap up for today. Feels real good to be back in my garage, even if it's lightweight for a while.

Just take it slow and practice strict form, the urge to boost weight on a lift should be resisted to keep excellent form. If you use the weight correctly then you won't need to jump up in weight so quickly.

So far going well. Just using light weights on everything.

I only plan on hitting Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday for a month or so and then will probably do something like Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.

My 15 year old son is going to hit the weights with me this summer.
