Any Desert Storm Pact Act disability recipients here?

A DS veteran friend of mine called me last night, asking me if I heard of or filed for the Pact Act.
He briefly explained it to me, telling me different claims DS veterans are getting partial disabilities for. He named three or four that I have right off the bat.
I don’t use the VA for my medical, but I did start that process last night, because I retire within ten years, and need to start looking into it.
I’m just looking for help where to start the process. The VA website is just a massive data dumped website that is confusing to navigate.

Make an appointment to visit one of these sites, tell them what you need and they’ll help fill out the appropriate paperwork and file it for you.

Put in an "Intent to file" now then start getting your evidence together. The intent to file gives you one year to file a claim and you'll get all that back pay. Go to this Reddit sub and research, it's a gold mine of information and people are helpful.
