Jan/Feb time frame

Per the description on the USGA site, the LST driver contains a “carbonfly wrap” crown, with each new driver also featuring a weight port for adjustability and an apparently forged face ala the G425’s T9S+ forged face. This would suggest Ping may be implementing a carbon fiber crown and deviating from titanium.

Accents will be Yellow.

Here's the crown. Not a fan. I played the G410 LST for 2 years.

I don't like the racing stripes.

Guy in my flight at the member guest this weekend was bombing his g425 max with Ventus shaft. Absolutely Wielding it. Still beat their arse 5.5 to 3.5

I guess that I have hit Ping drivers for so long that I don't even notice the turbolater's.

Ping spent a lot of time on the sound of the driver.

Really fine tuned it.

I am not talking about the turbolaters. I am talking about the stickers around the edge of the head.

I am contemplating selling my Taylormade because it sounds like a wooden bat.

I know TaylorMade makes decent equipment but I have never been a fan primarily because of the muted feel.

I hit the new Titleist TSR Driver last week, didn't really see any change over the previous model.

I'm going to stick with my Ping G425 with the Tensi CK Blue shaft. It's a fairway finder and long enough.

I will demo the new Ping 430 when it comes out.

I just got the TSR3 and the sound is glorious. I had the Rogue ST Max LS before and the Titleist is so much better.

I agree the Taylormade’s sound awful and I could never get aligned with that!

Gonna be keeping my G400 in the bag.

The people who upgrade every year are ridiculous. Like 3 extra yards matter.

I realized two things when I went to get fitted for clubs.

All irons hit pretty much the same.
All drivers hit pretty much the same.

Major at Impact Precision said the Ping Driver was going to be a big improvement over the current model. He told me to wait until spring 2023 to get fitted for it and the new Titleist. I was thinking of getting a fitterd for a new driver as Christmas present to myself. Shows you how good fitter he is to suggest holding off until I could hit the Ping. He also said that the new Titleist Driver wasn’t that impressive.

Major and Trevor are great fitters.

I've known Trevor for a long time, he has never bs me on a piece of equipment.

The reviews that I saw on the new Ping are very positive.

Wwre the COR rating set, improvements in weight, aerodynamics and sounds is all that a company can do.

I have that new Tsr and it is ridiculous. Haven’t heard anyone say it wasn’t. Fitters around the country are saying this is the best Titleist Driver ever.

Better than the 975D ?

Titleist makes great woods no doubt.

Would like to hear your thoughts on how it is improved performance wise.

And are you using the stock shaft offerings or restarted it.

The one that I tried had the AV Blue shaft.

Well they’re all about that price so makes no sense to just say it about one

I had the Tsi3 and play the LA Golf 75x. I honestly was just gonna upgrade if it was just equal to what the TSi was giving me. But it’s legit just faster. Didn’t see any major difference in mishits but ball speed was 3 and sometimes 4 mph faster. Had 173-174 ball speed and 170 pretty consistently. Literally bought it on site and put the head on my gamer shaft (brought gamer shaft into fitting)

I get that, but it's the new latest thing out.. of course it's gonna be the greatest because they're trying to catch the boppers of the world (no offense bopper) it's all about building the better mouse trap..I've already seen comparison videos between it and the LTDx and each guy leaning towards the TSR.. is it really that much better.. no, no it's not.. the club fitters know who keeps the lights on and it's the early adopters of the world rushing out to buy the latest and greatest..
