Starfield - Talk with spoilers thread

I'm currently running through the Crimson Fleet storyline. I truly want to murder the UC SysDef crew, so think I would like to side with Crimson Fleet at the end.
Does this have any real ramifications on my gameplay down the road? Seems my crew gets pissed at me when I try to do anything piratey.

from my game experience, you will come against the UC again, and they're a essentially the Navy to your pirating ..

I started running with the Admiring Fan because even the KGB chick was getting snippy about off’ing civilians for their ships. Figured he’s too emotionally involved to get too bad.

This space fight sucks. I went and bought the Narcissus and can only get to the second round base and get smoked. Now I’m running around doing more side quests to get credits and upgrade my ship.

if you need quick cash, Failure to Communicate was stupid easy and I'm not sure how long its going to take me to clear out all this contraband..

I just finished the Frontier/Ranger quests and that shite was awesome too. You get some really good credits throughout. Knocking out the Vanguard quests now. Eventually I need to get back to the main story.

What are you guy using for your ship midgame? I read the Narwhal was the best, went to go buy it but I feel like I could build better. Currently rocking the Star Eagle.

I have upgraded my ship throughout. Now have a Class C Frontier that rips through everything.

mentioned in the other thread, but I simply upgraded the reactor to a C on the Mantis ship and upgraded it beyond what the game is selling for 1/3 of the price

Current main is called "Freighter" probably acquired from a random npc encounter. Have modified it a bunch and still have a bunch to go as leveling opens up better gear. Kinda a waste to max ship gear early since much is locked behind leveling (both perks and direct "must be level x"). Am currently approaching level 38.
Just trying to bang out some missions from terminals and am killing the named pirate after boarding for a few extra thousand credits per mission. Sell the ships (last 2 were C class) and the looted stuff, always a few thousand credits in the hold and captains safe (you will lose anything stored in the safe).

Im still in that weird time loop where pirates are friendly to me because I haven't completed a certain main storyline..
I tend to stroll all the way to the target and then have to just let lose to actually kill him, lol

Have you guys figured out how to stop succumbing to frost bite? I’m running through the last Vanguard mission and I almost instantly get frost bite in Londonion. I saved up 3 skill point and might need to dump them in the health tree.
