I played it Day 1. I even took a PTO day that day. You can go check the Starfield discussion thread if you don’t believe me. I wasn’t able to finish my initial play-through for 2 months because the last mission for the UC Vanguard quest line, Hostile Intelligence, was impossible to finish due to the NPCs freezing. But I guess it saved me from the exhilarating end-game of floating around 240 temples to upgrade my skills. All you have to do is read all the patch notes to see how buggy it was.

But all games suffer from bugs. Baulder's Gate 3, a lot of people's GOTY, still had a lot of bugs, some game breaking. I'm just saying Starfield's biggest issues wasn't their usual bug fest.

I logged over 100 hours and enjoyed it. Of course I have had GamePass for 4-5 years now, averaged out at about $50-60/yr.
Starfield was pretty much pennies in cost.
Stopped at NG+6, already way too damn powerful.
