have they died, posting under an alter or just moved on???

tavolatim - had some of the best recipes and techniques, but his ingredient lists would include a thousand items, think he got upset and have not seen him post in years

Martini - very salty but had some great contributions

Meridian Dog - incredible contributions, i know he had health issues, was always a little thin skinned with critiques, but I still use his chicken parm Florentine recipe

Treedawg - his sauce piquante recipe is almost world famous, RIP??

others????

Arseinclarse. His weekly fat boy threads were always good for a laugh.

I sure miss the Arseinclass fatty weekend rewinds. Those were great and made me want to visit NOLA every weekend.

CITWTT and KajunGee are deceased.

Cajunate jumped around a few boards years ago. His contributions here were solid. I know he had his own forum set up. I don't remember the name and don't know if it's still around.

Meridiandog's last post here was almost exactly a year ago. He used to have a FaceBook page called "Table and Life" or something like that, but it's gone now. His contributions on this board were top tier, but he did have a thin skin for the internet age. He did frequently mention health problems, but I know his name and there are no obits for him.

I don't know anything about the others mentioned.

I do too, he was a great example of how people can get along regardless of their political feelings, he was an expert on Latin food and restaurants

I can't recall the name of his forum either. I remember that it wasn't very busy when I checked it from time to time. He posted on various other forums in earlier years.

Martini is fine. He's very busy.

I have wondered why Tavolatim stopped posting. I enjoyed his posts and the TD recipe book has some of his recipes.

Hopefully the lack of obit is a good sign, and he is well. I do miss his posts.
