Cafe Equator is taking over the location. I don't expect a drive-through, tho.

Friend,
While no large loss to the Chinese offerings of the city, the building and its tale are a loss to the shrinking fabric of pre-Katrina Veterans architecture. Here are some of the photos I have of the building. It was one of the worst Chinese restaurants in the Metro and its survival is owed entirely to its great location.
When is the demolition scheduled? I would love to salvage some of the floor and booths. I am trying to collect pieces of old New Orleans restaurants to open a museum one day.
Yours,
TulaneLSU

That you are "collecting" that old shite is quite illustrative, indeed.
