12 team 1 flex pppr

Qb: fields and Stafford
Rb: breece hall, ekeler, zeke, tyjae, latavius and achane on IR.
WR: Adams, waddle, riddle, downs
TE: hockenson

Outgoing: ekeler and ridley and achane
Incoming: pollard and diggs

I know I could be losing out on a lot of potential if ekeler and Ridley get it together and achane comes back strong. So I think I lower my potential and depth here after achane return from IR.

But it just seems to me that pollard and diggs are much safer players.

I want to accept/decline before he rescinds as he’s done this before.

I'm 5-2 which is good for tied for second with 3 other people including myself... Just seems like I can't get my flex play down this season. Ridley has been so cold. Then for while ekeler was hurt. Then Achane.

I have the record to sit and not rush a trade if I need to.. But is the dolphins offense going to regress? If they regress how much does that effect Achane? Does ridley finally find his stride?

If it makes any difference both the cowboys and the Jets backup running backs are available to handcuff should I need too

Diggs would be awesome & Pollard will have some huge weeks ahead IMO.

But Achane is going to be fresh for late season and I wouldn’t be worried about Ekeler. Willing to bet Ridley settles in over the next few weeks.

I don’t think you can go wrong either way.. but I think I’d rather have the three names for playoff season.

ETA: went back to your WRs.. Adams Diggs and Waddle/Downs paired with Hall and Pollard is a pretty great team.

Takes some risk off the table so yea I think I’d actually flip and say take the trade.

Thanks for the input. The thing about having Adams Waddle Ridley and then Ekeler Achane and Hall is I can only play 5 out of the 6 ya know?

Yep that’s true. And you’ve gotta rotate them correctly.

What I meant by risk off the table:

I don’t think you lose taking Diggs/Pollard. But you could lose keeping Ridle/Achane if Ridley doesn’t figure it out and/or Achane doesn’t come right back and crush.

My thoughts exactly.. Taking Pollard/Diggs seems like the safer thing to do. Although Last 2 years diggs has cooled off 2nd half of season

I wouldn’t take it.

Feel like your post trade team looks nice on paper but could get really thin with one or two injuries and I’m not sure if the value is even better to risk the depth. Achane was an absolute revelation when he was playing. I’d much rather have the potential for anything close to THAT, eckler, and the potential for Ridley to settle in. Diggs started out a house of fire last year and swooned hard as the season went on. I’m also not overly high on pollard as the season drags on. He’s small and will have had a lot of wear being a little guy by playoff weeks. I’d rather have the fresh achane over pollard and their respective offenses 10/10 times.

I wouldn't make that trade if it were me. It leaves you way too vulnerable at RB if you have just one injury. I would be looking at the waiver wire to see if there's another WR stash like you've done with Downs. Hall and Ekeler are top tier RBs. Maybe I'm missing something on Pollard, but I'm just not seeing the value in trading away a potential league winning back like Achane to get Pollard. As far as Ekeler goes, he's had two very tough matchups in his first 2 games back. Just hold tight and let him get back into form over the next few weeks.

My thoughts as well. Wouldn't make the trade due to how thin it makes him at RB. If there is one thing we have seen this year, you can never have enough RB depth.

I hold to this rule every year. If the deal makes me too thin at RB, I don't make it.

I don’t like it to be honest. You are not that deep at rb to where I would consider trading 2 for 1 even though Achane is on IR. Pollard also just looks like a shell of his former self. His burst and speed is gone. Wouldn’t be surprised if they brought someone in before the deadline. I also think there is a chance that Ridley turns it around after the bye. Having Diggs would be great but I don’t think it is worth what you are giving up.

I don't believe in Ridley being consistent in that Jags offense. I desperately want to get rid of him.

I am unsure when and how Achane will be used off his injury. Perhaps he goes back to being elite. Ekeler and Pollard seem even right now. Both could bounce back. Diggs is a sure fire elite WR. I lean Diggs/Pollard side.

With all that said maybe go with your gut.

I’d make the trade
