3- My college aged kid thought of going with some friends. Glad he/she had the sense to decide no, because I would have said no, knowing some bullshite like this was likely to happen and put people in danger. Glad my kid’s friends are ok.

Concert goers weren't the only ones sitting this one out. I know from a relative who does security at NRG that they offered regular pay plus a sizable bonus for the event - he declined, expecting there to be issues.

I opened up the paramount app and it is playing the local cbs feed, which is the news conference. Only CBS is carrying it, abc, fox, and nbc are all on games.

They just had a news conference where someone from the police claimed a security guard at the event was injected with drugs in the neck while doing his job and had to be resuscitated with Narcan by EMTs. What the hell?? Almost too hard to believe.

How do you get injected in the neck without noticing?
I heard that the kids who died were being injected with drugs. Was it a team of injectors? How does someone not immediately know they're being injected and how could you inject someone clean in that chaos?
It sounds ridiculous and just an excuse for failed security measures.
