Obvious, I know, but interesting that the Stan text was sent when he was already on his way home.

???
He couldn't have been on his way home. The Stan text was on August 27.
Brian was picked up hitchhiking in Colter Bay Village on August 29th

yeah, so the August 30th "no service in Yosemite" text doesn't appear to have happened, according to the search warrant...interesting...

I think all this means is that the police don’t believe the text was from her, not that it was never sent. If they pinged her phone in say GA at that time and text is saying there’s no service in Yosemite… They are probably assuming it wasn’t her at this point. It would be a misrepresentation in the warrant to say the last text Gabby sent was on the 30th if they genuinely believe she did not send the text.

thought it was utah law that the cops couldn't get around.
i watched until they were calling seek haven trying to get the dude a free room so she didn't have to go to jail cause they had to be separated until he had to sign the waiver next day.
they figured out a way to her around it. It’s around the 50 minute mark that the officer is trying to talk it out. They asked GP like she was 3 to think really hard about the answer, did she mean to hurt BL? Since she said no, they said she had no intent. And I guess when they called it mental health crisis not DV

The parents don't even believe the 8/27 text was from her.

What friend did she not meet up with in Yellowstone on August 29th?

I only remember the one friend she was supposed to plan meeting up in September, and the friend says Gabby didn’t call on the 29th.

quote:

Rose, 21, who lives in Sarasota, a half hour from Gabby and Brian's home in North Port, said she last spoke to Gabby in early August and was planning to meet her in Wyoming's Yellowstone National Park in September.

Rose had even asked her boss for days off for the trip. They were planning to lock in a specific date on August 29, Rose's birthday, but Gabby never called.

You are right, I just double-checked my source on the Yellowstone meetup and the source was incorrect. It wasn't that she was supposed to meet up in Yellowstone on the 29th, it was that she was supposed to call a friend on her friend's birthday on the 29th to discuss meeting up soon in September. Thanks for the correction.

but, in the search warrant, there is also doubt about the Aug 27th text about "Stan"...but I see what you are saying

She obviously had mental issues and abused him.

I thought that this was the case when the video first came out, but with everything else that has come out, and other people pointing out things in the video for me, I now agree with the opinion that BL was likely abusive, violent, gaslighted, etc.

And now we learn that the initial police report doesn't reflect what the 911 caller witnessed:

"The 911 caller who reported a "domestic dispute" between Brian Laundrie and Gabby Petito in Moab, Utah, on Aug. 12 was heard telling a dispatcher that "the gentleman was slapping the girl" and hitting her, Fox News has confirmed Monday after exclusively obtaining the audio of the call.

"He was slapping her?" the dispatcher was heard asking.

"Yes, and then we stopped. They ran up and down the sidewalk. He proceeded to hit her, hopped in the car and they drove off
," the caller added.

911 call discrepancy.

I really hope they release autopsy findings and more details about how she was found and anything found around her or with her.

I’m still leaning pretty heavily towards him killing her but innocent people do crazy things all the time. There are quite a few innocent people later freed from prison for a crime they actually confessed to committing.

her mother has said that she doesn't believe that any communication since they facetimed on 8/24-25 has actually been GP.

Wonder if those cops kind of wish they had arrested her for DV now.

The couple being from a couple thousand miles away would obviously make things more difficult as far as any restraining orders and such, which I'm guessing played into it.

It's comical the mental gymnastics they go through to avoid arresting her when Brain had visible injuries.

Sorry. Meant to say the No Service text (if it even exists at this point) was sent when he was already in his way home.

Not important to this post but I’m not relying on any eye witness reports at this point bc they are notoriously unreliable. I’m only giving real weight to the texts, license plate pics and actual video until an eye witness statement is proven pertinent and true.

Does anyone know how the cell service is in the area where Gabby was found or the area where he was allegedly hitchhiking?

That might just be a mom thing. In her position, I wouldn’t trust anything sent by text after I actually spoke to or saw my daughter.

I think someone said earlier the service would have been just fine out there.

eta: verizon coverage map looks pretty damn spotty out there, but idk the area well.

It seems more than reasonable if the grandfather was referred to by his name in the text and Gabby never does that. Not unlike not trusting the Yosemite text being from her when they weren't even supposed to be going there.
