Guess it depends on where you start.

So if I am going to Hammond and back from Lake Charles today would it be wise to load up some extra diesel cans in my truck just in case? I get 335 miles to a tank give or take and a round trip to Hammond is 344

I filled up my car, came home and picked up my fiances, went back and filled hers in about 30 minutes time at the Exxon on the corner of La. 19 and Main Street in Zachary. Their system of having one driveway open in, one out was awesome. I've seen absolute madness occurring at other stations in the area.

I guess. I was sort of hoping somewhere in Laffy would have diesel.

Absolutely do not rely on getting gas around Tangi. Lines are stupid long.

Citgo at highways 10 and 19 again had gas and no line this morning. No $40 limit either.

By Sunday gas has to be readily available in almost every corner?

I'm good on gas thru Sunday.

What type of diesel do you have? Are we talking a powerstroke or duramax? My duramax gets 600 miles to a tank.

Reasonably, Lake Charles. Lafayette being supplied entirely by trucks having to round trip from the terminal in Duson. The best thing closer is to hit one of the bigger stations in Port Allen or Highway 415. Super close to Placid, so they aren’t likely to run out while you are in line. Patience is the key.
