Just heard them say 4pm in Nola will have 90+ mph winds. Assuming that's the peak.

Here in Arabi right next to Jackson Barracks. Still have power and wind is picking up and consistent light rain here. Stay safe baws.

Bailed from Bucktown(ish) at 8 AM.

With a 7 year old, just couldn't justify staying - even well prepared.

Hit the Causeway and headed north.

Godspeed.

Picking up in Kenner big time. Heavy mist outside, gusts. We're getting the outer bands now obviously. Now it's a matter of time.

Just got to make it through the next 20 hours.

Add another one to the Bonnabel-Causeway krewe.

I had no idea how many baws we had from the area on here. I know a few other people who were posting over by rummel too.

Got my first roof leak. Doesn’t appear major, but it’s leaking. Shingles are coming off.

Same. There has to be 8-10 posters in the few blocks around Bonnabel and Causeway. How are you holding out so far?

I’m one of the few blocks in my little section that has power. Getting nasty but we’re all good. Only worried about my parents in lakeview.
