It is tough. He mentions it on his Instagram as 1 of 5 programs to run for a powerlifting meet prep.

I think we are gonna roll with arm farm instead.

Less 2x squats and 2x DL would make it hard for me to run as much as I like to during spring weather.

Benchamin Franklin 2 - Day 3

Loved the fast paced bench/row SS. Both bench and rows felt better the deeper into the sets I got. The pullover/lat SS was nice as well; taxing but not extreme. I started too heavy on the skullcrushers. Form suffered at the end of the 2nd set so I had to drop down for 3 and 4. Even then damage was done and form suffered on set 4. The cardio portion of as many sets of 8 CG pushups as possible in 2 min was not good. Upset that I only managed 4. Arms didn't feel good from the get go on those. Im sure skullcrushers and pullovers played a huge part of the low number. Off day tomorrow with just some cardio and IR sauna.

Man, I did day 1 of FOTH2 last Monday, did day 2 yesterday. Was tied up and couldn't hit the gym. Was amazing how quickly I lost some strength taking about 10 days off from my last back/bi's workout. I was feeling a little sluggish and wasn't hitting all the reps I was doing 10 days before on FOTH1.

In Greyskull fashion, I’m going to rotate my main lifts to establish some new movement patterns, rest some aching parts

30* incline bench for bench
SSB squats for traditional barbell squat
Hex bar or rack pulls for deads

Thoughts? I know I’ll most likely need to lower my Tm’s for ssb and incline

I didn’t think it was as hard as it is LONG. If you follow the recommended break times some of the days last 2 hours. It’s actually the only one I’ve started and didn’t complete, did 3 of the 4 weeks. I wasn’t getting results and I think it’s because it was to much volume for the amount of recovery sleep I get. I work shift work so my sleep hours are weird so recovery is my biggest obstacle

Pump City is the hardest I’ve done, but I think it depends on how hard you push yourself on the leg days. My buddy didn’t think it was bad but he was doing the RFESS with 25s while I was doing 60s lol. I’d always take a day off before one of the leg days came up, they were brutal

Almost half way done with arm farm. I can see why it’s a board favorite. The pump I leave the gym with after every workout is unreal. Was dreading the deadlift-farmers walk super but it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought. I used to hate Zottman curls but I’ve grown to love them as my form has gotten better

Benchamin Franklin 2 - Day 4

Took the day off yesterday as planned. Just did some stationary bike and walking for cardio. Definitely happy I took Aaron's advice on taking a rest day after day 3. Triceps are still killing me 48hrs later.

Knocked out day 4 this morning. Nice to get the big 3 lifts all in a single day. That last set of deads (and squat to some extent) was heavy. Got them all done with decent form, but the last set wasn't completely unbroken. I LOVE the pendlay rows. I'm not an explosive person and I don't move quick. Those force you to be explosive and it's something I need more of. Cardio was solid and I didn't feel close to failure on anything. I may push those weights higher next time.

Benchamin Franklin 2 - Day 5

Relatively easy day today. The bench %s felt conservative for sure. The chin/arnold press SS was nice. I haven't done those in a while and was pleasantly suprised that I needed to bump up the DBs twice from last time. I'm still not ready for weighted chins, but no longer doing assisted either. I did get a little over zealous after the first set of CG bench and bumped up the weight. That last set, I pushed like hell to complete the last rep. For the cardio, I'm not sure if I did the behind the butt wrist curls correctly or not. Having trouble figuring out if wrist curls and rollups are the sale or different. Seems different people call these (and do them) differently.

Benchamin Franklin 2 - Day 6

Didn't get as much sleep as I should've last night so this morning was a little meh. Early morning so I could make sure I get back home for Easter breakfast with the kids.

Bench was fine. I messed up on bent rows and ran them traditional instead of rev grip (just missed it in the description). The OHP felt heavier than I anticipated so I didn't bump up the weight on sets 2 and 3 like I was expecting. Tate presses felt surprisingly good. The last set was taxing for sure.

Day off tomorrow; just cardio and sauna.

Looks like Aaron is closing the PPSA IG account. Any idea what the "new beginnings" are?

Benchamin Franklin 2 - Day 7

Today was tough. The deadlift sets had me questioning my TM. I got it done, but it wasn't easy; used straps and it felt like cheating. Last set of squat was tough also, but not like DL. Ironically, bench was the easy one out of the main 3.

Did my first PPSA in February. Arm Farm was awesome, I am excited to get into this new one
