I considered buying that one. Maybe I’ll run that instead of seesaw. Something new instead of a repeat program would be nice.

How long do most days of Filling out the hoodie take?
I'm trying to find some that run about an hour for next - debating FOTH v Arm Farm v Silverback

If you want upper body, it’s the plan. But only snatch grip deads and only 1 squat day and it’s light in volume for those lifts.

Plenty of benching, pressing, lots and lots of pulling and arms.

I can squat 290 but only bench 195x2. I need something upper body focused.

Man I know. They signed some exclusivity agreement with us. I hope I don't look like too big of a loser on there

I can confirm that after 2 days of Dumbbell Strength my arse is SORE

LOL - my wife says i have zero arse so maybe this program will help. Out of town so will plan to get this one and start up in a week or so. Going to be good to get out from under the bar and let my elbow and shoulder feel better

filling up the hoodie. I absolutely love this program

I think it and Pool Season are the best upper body i have done for me. Really outstanding programs. Arm Farm would be next for me. I have done Hoodie at least twice and need to redo it again

I took the day off from the gym yesterday as planned. Instead I carried a sandbag with me to the park and did a circuit workout with bodyweight and sandbag exercises. 3 rounds of burpees-jumps in each circuit set SUCKED. However, being outside in the cool weather sweating and watching the sun come up was amazing. I think I'll try to do this more often on "off" days.

Dumbbell Strength W1D3

Just like days 1 and 2, today was another good one. Grip issues have gotten better as I didn't really notice issues until the last 2 sets of shrugs during 'cardio'. This plan really allows you to push the weights since it's all fill-in-the-blank instead of set %s. While I mostly like this, it did bite me in the arse on the lat raises/front raises superset. I was too ambitious and went too heavy on set 1; sets 2 and 3 suffered because of it. Everything else went as planned.

I'm really loving the intensity of this program. I was a little hesitant on it as I like a nice balanced barbell plan with the big 3 (squat, deadlift, and bench press). However this plan is hitting everywhere nicely. Definitely going to get it the rotation on a regular basis.

yea its way harder than it looks and very very leg heavy. if your legs are lacking, its a good program to choose.

The giant of day 17 of 70s big done. Took me almost 90 minutes. Squatted for damn near an hour. 100 squats will have my legs like jello. I was walking like a cripple back to work

Dumbbell Strength W1D4

Today was a nice end to the week. I underestimated the toll that sets of 3x10 and 3x20 on chest supported rows would take on me. I had to drop 5# from my planned weight on the single arm rows. I completed the 1st set at my planned weight, but I knew form would be better if I dropped down for sets 2 and 3.

Those overhead carries.... I'm not sure if my face showed confidence or worry while walking around with a heavy DB over my head. Either way there was confusion again on some of the faces in the gym.

Heading to Nashville, so plan on taking a break this weekend and just getting my steps in (and maybe a little cardio at the hotel). Back to the grind Monday when I get back!

Yall saw PPSA’s instagram story today about a new program called Clean The House??

I’m excited about that one because I’ve been thinking about trying out some different workout styles. Anyone know when it’s due to come out?

in week 3 of pool season 1 then planning on doing pool season 2 but will probably run DB strength after. im liking the sound of it. legs need some work and i cant squat so this sounds like the perfect plan

Also fooling with the idea of doing one of the programs but only with cables/machines to mix it up. It kinda defeats the purpose of PPSA but I think it would be an interesting mix up

Ex: instead of bench do chest press, instead of of squats leg press, instead of db laterals cable raises, etc

I normally sub out bench press and do dumbbell presses. They are easier on my shoulder.
