lol old dude treating it like its the ACT, trying all the tricks to get the best score possible

i have posted this before, but for inbody, dexa, bod pod etc you need to go in the morning, as early as possible. should take your morning piss and a bowel movement if you need to and then go take it. as much as possible, no drinks like energy drinks, cofee and no food and honestly shouldnt even have water if you want the most accurate results.

I try to do that, but 5 Star doesn't open until 10am. So I have a Monster and a beef jerky and about 16oz of water a couple hours before this scan.

The one in Walker? I see there is a 60 min. I wonder if they will do insurance on that one too.

Yeah, I could hack it and drop 1 to 2% BF but that’s not really a realistic evaluation.

but why? just fast completely until then, its not going to hurt you and currently you are throwing the test off big time.

So you're saying I'm way leaner than the 16.7% BF is indicating? Please tell me that's what you're saying....

Say it! I want to read the words!

Believe it or not, I don't do many arm specific workouts. I get most of my arm workouts from pull-ups/chin-ups, rows, and presses. I actually haven't done an "arm workout" in almost a month.

I’m busting your balls. I was in the same exact spot as you with almost the same measurements. I had a little more SMM but lost 23lbs of fat while maintaining the exact SMM. You can do it. Stay the course. 11 to 12% BF is doable.

That SMM bro!!!! Hell yeah! And 13.7 BFP is legit at 200lbs! Good shite! Leanest I’ve ever been was 13.3 about two and a half years ago, the post is in this thread somewhere, but I wasn’t mad at the 14.3 today.

Check this one out gents. 6’5 and going to be 53 in July. Haven’t lifted since 2019 and in Jan decided to get my shite together. Through a little trial and error think I fell bassackwards into some magical combo of exercise, lifting and diet.

Discovered my gym had inbody from an earlier thread and get scanned at the beginning of each month starting in March. Definition of newbie gains?

I’ve got the beach in two weeks and looking forward to the break as fatigue has started to set in the last couple of weeks. I probably need to up my carbs. Calorie target now is @2800 per day.

Diet is the key. My previous diet was black coffee for breakfast, junk for lunch and dinner - and then alcohol for dessert. Since I WFH I switched it up and had to force myself to eat more…which is weird. Also, keep carbs relatively low throughout the day but don’t sweat dinner.

Advice to keep it going but not burn myself out?

awesome progress and some of that is newbie gains and then also muscle memory. once the nuclie fuse....takes over a decade to unfuse so some of that is prolly gaining what you had before.

advice is just dont over due it. you have yourself in a great place and set your self up big time for health for your 50s and into your retirement years.

find foods you enjoy and also take a break every once in a while. we are not making money from our bodies and you have to enjoy life too.

vacations are great to get away and take a break and deload the muscles and enjoy some foods you normally wouldnt, just dont go ape shite

another thing, i find posting in the daily threads and joininig the program party threads and doing the program with poeple really helps me stay consistant.
