Damn, your kid is a tough SOB. Good on him for battling through all that. One decent off and I’m usually toast for the day and skittish for a week or two after. Nice to be young and fearless.

I’ve going in the US Pro Cup this weekend in Temecula, CA. Chris Blevins and a few of the other top pros will be racing the same course that weekend. Can’t wait to humble myself and compare times.

Definitely crazy how quickly they rebound. He’s definitely got grit, though.

Blevins is awesome! He’s done some events at my wife’s store and my kid has done a group ride with him. Really great guy and a rising star. Blevins and Riley Amos split events this coming weekend. Riley is at Windrock and Chris is at Temecula. Both are points races, so that let’s them both get some UCI points. I think they will both be in Fayetteville in a couple of weeks for the Pro Cup, and I should get to see them.

Blevins has got legit bike skill. Dude can shred. Love that new generation of XCO rider who grew up on bmx. Bjorn Riley is another one who rips.
