I like the direction this is going.
I don't think Father Jun is going to die, but I do think this is where he exits again. Might stay out there to be healed, and act as the protector of that village.
Young Jun and Mai Ling as partners make an interesting dynamic. Lots of foreshadowing of Ah Sahm breaking away soon.
I like the side story with Chao and Lee. The 2 despised each other, but they're both good men with flaws. Looks like a lot of respect between the 2 going forward.
