Jesus man, do you ever watch anything for yourself? Everything you post is what someone else tells you.
It's funny that you try to push this narrative that I ONLY post what others tell me. It's such a simple and tired effort on your part.
I DID watch season 1. No one TOLD me to go watch, I had no preconceptions of what I was getting into, it just showed up on my list and I gave it a try.
I started season 2, and it just wasn't keeping me interested. Based on what I knew, and what I was seeing, I took the cues from others who had seen more and decided to bail.
Good grief, don't be so god damn thin skinned. I didn't call it the worst thing ever. To the contrary, I did find a good part of it interesting. But after over 20 years of Buffy, Witch Blade, River Tam, Dark Angel, to Galadrrrrrriel, Captain Marvel, Rey Palpatine, Shuri, RiRi Ironheart Williams, every imaginable version of little girls gaining amazing powers or just being awsome because WAHMAN!, I'm pretty much done.
* They want to make interesting brave and bold fighty girl characters? Great. But do it with some level of competency. Alita is one example. So is Arcane. Which has 2 really good female characters, imo. And they're pitted aginst each other! What a concept.

You sure we're discussing the same show? There's no "grrl power" here. We have Kung Fu masters, an Irish brawler, a couple cops, and a shite-ton of organized crime and corruption. The only females I can think of off-hand are Mai Ling (a conniving, duplicitous bitch that just happens to be Ah Sahm's sister), Ah Toy running the brothel, Penelope with her naive high-society ideals running into the reality of what's happening. None of them are overpowered, and would get their arse handed to them in 2 seconds if they fought any of the male leads.
