How come Jack Daniels held out for so many years old the older juice. That 12 year is so damn good

They've been showing off for the last five or six years. The heritage release and special release rye immediately brought in the enthusiasts and forced people to rethink the brand. They have done some innovative things as well such as the single malt and triple mash. The bonded series rye is my go to cocktail/everyday rye and the single barrel rye is just behind willett for my favorite shelf rye overall.

Batch 1 of the 12 ended up being my favorite bottle last year. I finally got batch 2 a few days ago so I'm looking forward to seeing how it compares. The 14 is right around the corner. It should be out by early next year if not in the fall.

Speaking of JD, doing a little head to head this evening
