The strawberries and blackberries should be fine. As for the blackberries, you may lose the tips of the canes if touching the ground. This is what I need to get done today, pruning the old canes that produced last year and re-staking the good canes. These things are starting to grow crazy.

Worried about my satsuma, lemon and kumquat trees with the chance of cold weather coming in. Already taking a chance of trying to grow them here in AL.

Seeds started early for the first time. Got the 40k lux light mentioned in one of the post above, think it will work well.

As always, thanks to all for the info shared in this thread. How some things can motivate one.

That’s reassuring. I know strawberries can handle some pretty low temps. Wasn’t too sure how low the blackberries could handle. There were talks of us potentially being in the teens with wind chills even lower. Looks like the models have backed off of that extreme, so that’s even more reassuring.
