It’s definitely not just about money, as I have other paths to achieve more money, faster. My other big factors include: Knowledge, way of life, and the influence that I may be able to have on my kid, community, and an international community (I don’t know if I’m maybe deceiving myself with this, but I do imagine that engineers are in contact with great minds at least some of the time, are they not?) I’m just taking a while to decide on this because I know it is a TON to take on and I don’t want to be an idealist and make a bad mistake.
