OU announced another transfer. At this point it has to be like an A&M football level NIL push right? Surely not all of these kids families can afford like a 15% scholarship.
I mean, good for them. Maybe OU rattling of a 4 or 5 peat will finally wake up certain coaches to the power of the portal. At the very least maybe it will show an AD or two how their coaches are falling behind the times.

I think if she does not get to WCWS this yr she will be gone or conversations for change will be made. Time for those recruiting classes to pay off.

Baylea Brandon to Texas. While I am very happy for her, this one stings a little bit. It's one thing to lose kids to Lubbock Christian or Liberty but I don't know.

I personally didn't want to lose Brandon or Smith, they had a lot of potential and are extremely talented but it is what it is I guess.

Yes. I’m not saying it’s a huge thing but the “superfan” is indeed influencing recruiting and not in a good way.

I am new to the Droppings, so there will be another softball fan in the mix here. I may have missed it, but I didn't see anything here in the last couple of days about Hannah Carson transferring to LSU. The Advocate just had an article about it, but perhaps this was old news here. In any case, she sounds like a great addition to the team as a 2nd team all Big catcher who hit .329 last year and apparently fields the ball well. I know we missed some prime opportunities with some other potential transfers, but glad to get this one.
Addendum: After posting, I found out that this is really old news even though The Advocate is acting as if it just happened.
