Living through you bro.

Not posting much but still keeping up.
Loving the every day squat so far. Squat is by far my weakest lift since my knee surgeries so this is really getting my confidence back up.
Been adding in calves and abs to make sure I’m not neglecting anything. Some other areas could probably use more work as well but no big deal for a one month program.

I did it last year and doing it again this year. So far it’s easier than I remember it being. He hit us with some big volume days on Friday’s last year. We haven’t had one of them yet.

Agreed.

Agreed about being easier and the lack of volume. I fully expect a "21 to party" this Friday with a bump in training max if you get 21 in 3 sets of 7.

yea i would expect a bump from the 21 to party this week, a bump in volume next friday before the taper.
but in general I think he kind of realized that he needed to lower volume some.
** just went back and looked
Day 12 last year was 5 total sets, 23 total reps
Day 13 last year was the same
Day 14 was the seesaw, a total of 6 sets and 13 reps
Day 15 was 4 sets of 4 @62.5 with 4 ssec eccentric
Day 16 was the 21 to party
so not sure if its just a mental thing cause 2019 was even less volume it looks like.

Day 14- The Iron never lies

That’s interesting. Maybe we’re all just a bit more dialed in this year?
Finished Day 13 a bit ago. One of the shorter days. Not bad. Added in 3 x failure chin-ups at the end with only 1:00 min rest. #feeltheburn

Day 14 down - on to an easy Day 15 to finish out the week.

Today was a little challenging due to the higher rep ranges which haven’t been in the program up to this point. A little more of a cardiovascular tax.
Overall though, really enjoying the program. Halfway through Squatober. Feels good.

Yeah, just finished, I thought today's was going to be a light day. The single leg squats followed by 10 back squats was hard.

Had you been able to briefly rest under the bar I think it would have been easier but I was really trying to pump them out with pace. Agreed it was unexpectedly challenging. Nice job homie!

Got the see-saw tomorrow gents! Also, PPSA recommended going up 5% if you hit your last set of 5 without a belt on Day 14. So 5% up I go.
The last two weeks will be a grinder.

I've fallen off the wagon, not having a home gym has killed me. The time just isn't there right now.

I got all 5 so I guess up 5% I go! 300->315
Excited to squat 3 plates after all this. Haven’t done that in years.
Maybe in 2 more weeks my squat will actually pass my bench. Crushing some newbie leg gains.

Life gets in the way. Keep the missed days to a minimal, lift while you can and start pushing toward Squatober 2022.

Good stuff Fe_Mike!
Tomorrow’s workout is long. Going to have to wake up at 5:00am to get it all done before heading into work. Damn. My own routines I was up at 5:30 and with Squatober I had to already bump that to 5:15. It is what it is. It’s just one day but still….
