re: Was early 2000’s the greatest era of local band scene in BR?

I know one thing for sure, the local metal scene today is much better than in the early 2000s. I remember when Catholicon was basically the only metal band in town. Then Thou came along and they got pretty big. There's some decent bands out there now, especially since it feels like the BR, NOLA, and Lafayette scenes are all blending together.
