How is Chelsea’s Live doing? Seems to be one of the only local venues in the BR scene these days

It's doing well... steady calendar of stuff. https://www.chelseaslive.com/

the Mid City Ballroom is doing stuff, too. https://www.midcityballroom.com/

Brick Yard South https://www.facebook.com/brickyardsouth/

I know bands that have booked gigs at The Basin Street Club or whatever it is on Third Street, but the crowd there is not into a band that plays originals and it seems impossible to get the people who are to go these... it's much more geared to hip hop and DJs and dance music, cover bands and "bro" country bands... seems to try really hard to be like a French Quarter bar with glowing neon shots, etc.
