I had it in March. Worst symptoms were fatigue and loss of taste for sure. Fatigue lasted a week. My sense of smell/taste didn’t return for almost two months though it sucked.

I’m just coming out of it....went back to work this week. Worst 3 weeks of my life. I had all the symptoms and it sucked. I ended up in the ER about half way through not being able to breath. Full disclosure.....I’m in my 50’s with no underlying conditions.

My 80 yr old grandparents had it and were fine. One of my employees that’s 28 years old and in good had it beginning of last week and it really kicked his arse. He said it was worse than any flu he ever had. It jus affects people differently

Had it in early March. Never lost taste or smell. Did not get the nasty suffocating pneumonia stuff. Symptoms were/are shortness of breath, weird headaches, and dizziness. Was/is mild, but symptoms never went away.

Did not have testing until June here. Swab test was negative, so hopefully active infection is gone and not contagious. Back at work and wear mask when around other people.

For any who have had it and lost taste/smell, how quick did you get it back? Not being able to taste food is really getting old.

Several friends have had it. Said it felt no different than the flu + a few extra days of fatigue. Were all back to normal in about 8-10 days.

Mine came back about 2.5 weeks after being diagnosed. Are you experiencing severe fatigue?

Were you practicing social distancing and still caught it or did you just ignore those warnings? Seriously curious.

Yep, I know over a dozen. One never lost sense of smell but had one day of everything smelling of funk but it cleared up before bedtime. Back at work after 14 days. 3 days no symptoms being criteria to return.

All indications are that inflammation in the vascular system trends more severe. HFCS is one of the top causes of this, and why I don't do energy drinks.

The antibody tests are a waste of money, very inaccurate

I was in a similar situation with good health at 31.

I’d say that my TOTAL loss of smell lasted about 14 days. Then one morning I caught a whiff of ground cinnamon.

This made me very happy.

It took another 4-6 days to gain a better sense of smell. It’s gradual, but you’ll be fine!

In the USA it is because sugar from cane is supposed to be bad. Funny how countries which have banned any HFCS to support their sugar beet industry have almost all mild cases.

God dammit.

Stop spreading this bullshite. All it does is give people an excuse to eat like shite.

I grocery shop weekly, spend about ~$125 and the only items I purchase that contain HFCS are condiments. It's really not even that hard to avoid HFCS. Just don't buy packaged shite.

Are you seriously trying to say usage of HFCS causes a worse case of COVID19?

I tested positive 2 weeks ago. Symptoms showed up slightly Tuesday with a headache. I thought nothing of it. Headache continued on Wednesday. Wednesday night I had a fever, muscle aches, slight cough, and headaches. Woke up Thursday feeling a bit better. Went and got rapid tested and tested positive. By the time I tested positive that night, I was already over the symptoms.
Muscle aches lasted for another day and then Saturday I lost my sense of taste and smell.
No other symptoms since and I’ve recovered taste but not smell.

Also have worked out every single day since that first Sunday. No problems with breathing.

I read that I can come out of quarantine bc I have no other symptoms and recovered. Does anyone know if you are still contagious with only lack of smell?

If you lost your senses, when did you recover them?
