You buying the game, and me not buying the game doesn’t have anything to do with our opinions being shared on a message board. If you get to share your enthusiasm, then I can share my weariness.

I’m probably interested in it more than you, which is why I’ve done my research and am approaching it more carefully than you are.
I guarantee you don’t love college football more than I do. I also want people to stop accepting mediocrity in 2024.
If we keep accepting it, they will keep producing it.

I know about the company producing the game.
Anything that was produced 11 years ago is irrelevant. The engine wasn’t even the same. Madden is all we have to go by, and even you have admitted it’s going to be like Madden.
Even modern Maddens don’t play like Madden did around the same time.
Look at the Madden scores then versus the scores lately. They are hated by reviewers, yet bought more because CASUAL gamers who mindlessly play video games buy it anyways.

And in 2024, I'd like folks to stop acting self-important and overreacting to fictional scenarios they've created in their heads, but we can't always get what we want sadly.

Where and when? I said it may have a MUT equivalent in it, but that has nothing to do with the gameplay. The team who is working on the game has said they are building it completely from the ground up and they aren’t working with Madden. Are they using the same engine? Yes. Same engine doesn’t mean the same gameplay. To use a more direct analogy, just because two vehicles have the same engine in them doesn’t mean they are going to perform the exact same. It’s all about what you build out from it.

Okay? A lot of those old Maddens had plenty of problems, but instead of fixing them and upgrading them, they decided to go to a new engine in one year and that new engine couldn’t be implemented in a year. They’ve literally said they need to take a year or two off to fix it but the bigwigs at EA and the NFL don’t care about gameplay and fixing bugs because they make billions from MUT. To them there is no issue because their bottom line looks extremely good. It is what it is.

I will say that if that’s all they give us tomorrow then I will actually be very pissed.
If that the real standard cover then that’s beyond horrendous. That looks like something that should be on the inside of the case or on the back at best

That’s not all they are giving. It’s pretty much a full reveal.
If not then the Madden 25 reveal is tomorrow so we will at least see the gameplay one way or the other.
