Looking for a good place to buy hardwood in or around Baton Rouge for a couple furniture projects I’d like to tackle. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hardwood lumber Sales in Zachary next to Tractor Supply. I’ve bought oak plywood and rough cut cypress from them. I’m a novice and they were very patient.

I have no idea if they are cheap, expensive or average on their prices. I felt I got my money’s worth on the lumber n service so I was happy.

There is a place near Cortana Mall also that sells furniture grade wood. I seem to remember the need to plane and shape the wood 12 years ago when I was buying. Do you have the ability to do that?

What kind of wood you need? Lowe's has 1/2 and 3/4 sheets of oak and birch...

Brazo's is cheaper than Service, but the hours are difficult.
