So dude goes to hospital with flu. Gets treated then released. Goes back a few days later saying he wasn't better. Finally gets tested and is positive. No telling how many people he came into contact with after being released.

To be fair, it seems impossible to test every guy with the flu. I don't know what the answer is.

Yeah, no shite, that’s what I do here because Trump is a hilariously incompetent narcissist and I enjoy pointing it out whenever possible. Neither one of us claimed anything close to what you suggested, though.

You’re already ahead of the President of the United States, then, so you’re doing alright.

He didn’t meet criteria. That is correct.
The criteria need to change. I can 100% guarantee you this exact scenario in Kentucky has already happened before.

I'm sure the criteria will change once the test becomes more widely available.

I live in Washington and the guidance is still only to test those who require hospitalization or who have traveled to China, South Korea, Italy, or Iran; even though we already have one confirmed case in our county and 71 cases in neighboring King County.

King County is now allowing providers to test whomever they suspect may have COVID-19 with no restrictions. I'm expecting that guidance statewide come next week.

You tell people with flu like symptoms and negative flu screens to sit their arse at home for a week and to come back if they get worse.

If just half of those people listen to you, you’re doing great.

If you measure a president's competence by what percentage of his agenda he has been able to enact, trump isn't any less competent than the average president. (which isn't a high bar)

That vandy polisci professor who tracks agendas has trump at 45% complete or partial complete.

obama was at 46% at this time in his term.

Bush was at 49

Clinton was at 38

Yeah... unfortunately having the supergenius, part-time virologist God Emperor in charge wishing it away may not be enough for us to mitigate the clusterfrick that’s upon us.

Too bad we don't have that Godlike Kenyan Dreamboat in charge.

He could wave his omnipotent hand and make the virus disappear.

Then you sheep could all line up to blow your messiah.

The President appears to have intentions of testing anyone who wants it.

He was contradicted by other officials.

Why won’t he fire them? Where are these billions going?

That’s a “you’re doing a great job, Brownie” moment.

Yep.

the contamination of the initial kits is so unfortunate.

but I am also not happy that somebody at the cdc declined to accept WHO's offer of testing kits, because they claimed they might be inadequate.

If the fricker had the flu, he shouldn't have been around too many people anyway.

Yeah, it really is too bad that you’ll eventually have to come up with a strategy to settle the dissonance you’re currently experiencing without defaulting to blaming your favorite scapegoat.

In other news the flu has killed between 20-52,000 this flu season but you never talk about that.

This just in.

President Trump isn't a medical doctor!

Who knew!!!

Um. Now, I support me some Trump, but, if you think I'm going to take the position that in a debate between him and top ranking medical professionals, HE should be the deciding voice...…….yeah...…...that ain't happening.

Since you think this is trump's version of katrina, are you also going to claim that this is various european's version of, say, chernobyl?

If trump is to blame here, why isn't conte to blame in italy, or macron to blame in france?

H1N1.

The Kenyan Dreamboat waited until how many were dead to take action?
