Same job I’ve had. Just scheduled days off around the holidays. Go back on the 7th. Only working 4/10s and then having holidays during the past 2 weeks made it easy besides being on call. Had a call out last night and didn’t get in bed till 1:30. Planned on sleeping in but my internal clock had me up so decided maybe it’s fate.
Just had a big 7 cross the field grunting looking for the doe that crossed earlier. The activity and chasing this morning has been unreal. I had a spike chase a doe past me and then return with 4 does, an additional spike and a broken 8pt. Counting my blessings this morning for sure
