1 degree, but with wind it was around -5 visiting a friend in Arkansas. F that noise, I will take 100 degree Louisiana heat 10/10 times over the cold.

Lisco, Nebraska (the western portion of the state). I think it was 11 degrees with about 30-35 mph winds on a hunt by the Platte River.

It was so cold and windy that it wasn't an enjoyable experience.

Breckenridge in February. Don't remember the exact temp but it was inhumane.

About -15 degrees Fahrenheit in Wyoming, but 8 degrees with 40 MPH winds near Amarillo was much worse.

40 below in a research facility. There's cold and there's COLD.

You'd outfit with a jacket in the anteroom where it was 72 degrees (normal AC system) and then pass through increasingly colder (and smaller) zones until you got to the ultra cold area at the end. We'd designed everything so that every time you walked through a zone lock, you were dropping about 30 degrees in temperature and you'd just put another layer of protection on. It's a fricking weird thing to start at 72 degrees in an office in shirtsleeves and then two minutes and four doors later, you're fully outfitted in arctic gear at arctic conditions.

That place was COLD.

Hit -1 in Fayetteville my freshman year one night. I remember going outside in shorts and a tee to see how it felt. It was cold but all cold is cold. Haven't been in anything lower than that since.

Me personally -15 is the coldest. Felt like I was going to die.

My brother in law works the north slope of Alaska. He texted me Christmas Day and it was -40 with a wind chill of -60. That is insane.

With the wind and wet cold I had to go back inside within ten minutes. Most miserable cold I’ve ever experienced.

We discovered this in Utah. The dry cold isn't nearly as bad as the cold, humidity we get here in the South. We were skiing in Utah in t-shirts in the 20 degree temps.
