Simple question.

I am going to say yes, but I’m uninformed relative to most on here on this topic.

I’m thinking “no” by a slim margin.

The frantic attacks by his side and the pet judges killing ads attacking him all come off as desperation.

it's a turnout game at this point. all comes down to which side is more motivated to get out and vote

Basically it's 50/50 in the polls and will come down to turnout.

His lead is slipping due to Trump’s heavy handed involvement the last two weeks. However, he will win with a 2% margin at least come voting day. Rispone is dirty and while JBE may be dirty as well we know him and know what he’s about. We know he is pro-life, pro-2A, and anti-sanctuary City. He’s also undone Jindal’s mess and currently has a budget surplus he is putting to work on fixing the broken infrastructure that has been neglected by past state leaders.

Latest poll says 49-49.
LSU plays late.
No rain, chilly but only party cloudy. Good turnout day.
Most of JEB voters already voted.
Good Saturday turn out favors Rispone.

Rispone 51.5 to 48.5

Most likely. There's no acute drama in Louisiana right now so people will stick with the status quo.

JBE has the cemetery vote locked up, that's for sure.

Tell me how JBE gets above 48%? I'm giving him 2 points from his previous 46% due to butt hurt Abraham voters..... I don't see a path to victory for John Bel Edwards

Yes

I'm gonna do my part to try and prevent it from happening, though.

My prediction

Rispone 50.4
JBE 49.6

It would not surprise me if those numbers are reversed.

Does anyone know if LA has an automatic recount threshhold, and if so, what is it?

What is setting this race is a Democrat candidate who, on issues important to most LA citizens, is somewhat center/right, and a Republican candidate who hasn't inspired a lot of confidence in people.

Rispone blows out a more liberal candidate, and a better GOP candidate blows out JBE. But that's not where we are.

What the spread on this? I think JBE wins by 26,000 votes. :(

Look, I'm a conservative straight republican voting person. These political elections are like pitting 2 football teams with ravenous fanbases against each other and in the grand scheme neither official will really hurt or better anyones lives in a significant way.

This is all just so damn stupid.

Simple question.
I'm going to say yes as of now.

His desperation call-in to the O Show was his big uptick. Right after beating Bama, he calls in to say how proud he is of LSU even though just three years ago he was saying he'd have to cancel LSU football. Politically ignorant voters will eat that shite up and vote for him on that call alone, even the ones who have lost their jobs due to liberal policies.

I'm not even in Louisiana but I've followed this pretty closely. The play might still be under review, but it looks like JBE's hail Mary connected in the endzone.
