Democrats think Texas is going blue in 2020.

It might go blue eventually but not 2020

But never assume a state is safe

dems never in their dreams thought Michigan or wisc would go red

Hell, I remember when W winning West Virginia was seen as a surprise

Now look at it

Dems might as well start making the poisonous kool-aid now if they don't want to live through 5 more years of MAGA.

I believe, that they think the Hispanic vote will be the key. That Hispanics will automatically vote for pro-immigration candidates, but Hispanic Citizens realize, Illegals are costing them money, all the way around. Keeping the pay scale lower, and sucking up money through social programs, that could be used in more constructive ways for every community.

Democrats have a lot of hopes, but not much reality.

Texas is not turning blue.

Look at the vote spread for Governor in 2018.

Not take Abbott out of the equation and put in Trump.

Texas is on its way blue, there are a lot of people relocating there

They say this all the time and it is not going to happen. They could not beat the most unlikable politican in the country in a midterm with 70 million being dropped in his opponents lap and massive voter fraud. California will go Red before Texas goes Blue.

Only a matter of time.

Dems will get enough third world immigrants there to turn the tide and destroy Texas soon enough.

It is one of their stated goals.

Yeah I think Trump will take Texas this go around but it sounds like Texas is going the same direction as my state of Georgia. We're getting to the point where we are barely hanging on, the rural areas are still solidly conservative for the most part but the democrats have taken over the cities. It's a disturbing trend.

Some of this sentiment is because so many republican lost city elections to dems. It was widely shown that straight ticket voting contributed to this. There will be no straight ticket voting option in the next election.
